SA Steinskulptur produces gravestones in all common materials — light and dark granite, marble and distinctive Norwegian stone. Every stone is worked in the workshop, with the treatment the material and the intended expression call for: carving, sandblasting, cleaning or polishing.
The inscription is either carved by hand or sandblasted from a stencil. We accept both traditional orders and commissions for bespoke stones — often in collaboration with an architect or the family. Delivery to cemeteries or installation sites throughout Norway.
The examples below show completed works from the archive, together with visualisations of designs that can be produced to order. The physical stock changes continuously — stones go out, new ones arrive, reclaimed material is restored.
